WHO WE ARE.
In the summer of 2006, a number of Christian organizations gathered to address issues of child abuse and safety within the international missions community. While many organizations were already working on policies, investigations, and prevention programs, there was a clear need for collaboration, shared resources, and networking.
This shared commitment led to the formation of the Child Safety & Protection Network, a growing multi-agency network of Christian mission organizations, NGOs, service providers, and international schools dedicated to safeguarding children.

OUR MISSION
The Child Safety & Protection Network collaborates with international Christian organizations in their efforts to safeguard children.
- Connect: We foster collaboration by sharing knowledge, experience, and resources as a network.
- Educate: We provide training to empower organizations to develop their own safeguarding programs.
- Protect: We support the creation of organizational environments where children’s safety and well-being are prioritized.

Having an established and trusted global safeguarding programme is vital to us. CSPN’s training courses and collaborative membership network has been hugely beneficial. We could not have developed our programme, both in prevention and response, without CSPN’s help.

OUR BOARD.
The seven board members, including the board chair, represent a number of different international Christian organisations and schools within the CSPN family. CSPN board members are voted in by the CSPN membership and can serve up to two terms of 3 years each term. Over the years, the board has represented many different organisations around the world. The board meets monthly; if members would like to see board minutes, they can be be made available by request.
