LIVE: Kenya Programme Essentials Training (PET)
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!
Location: Brackenhurst Conference and Retreat Centre, Limuru – Kiambu, Kenya
Dates: May 1-3, 2023
PET Course Information
PET is a three-day course designed to equip the people responsible for organizational child safety with the knowledge, skills and resources to develop a comprehensive child safety programme. Key topics will include: governance, scope of responsibility; understanding your organisational culture; duty of care; legal obligations and policy development. Each of the three modules will include a topical overview, foundational components and practical application.
PET is designed for policy makers and leaders who have responsibility for implementing, developing, and managing the child safety programme in their schools or organizations. These leaders are not necessarily the ‘hands on’ members of a child safety response team or even those who are delivering curriculum. Organizations with established child safety programmes and policies will also benefit greatly from attending this training to learn current best practices in developing a principle-based child safety programme and policy. Suggested attendees are HR leaders, managers, school administrators, board members or anyone involved in strategy and implementation.
*Participants must attend all three days of training to receive a certificate of completion (and CEU credit, if desired).
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT – EXTENDED: Training Fee $250.00 $200.00 USD, extended until February 15, 2023!
