Conference Information:
The 2023 Kenya Regional Conference will bring together Africa-based NGO’s, charities, mission agencies and schools. Our speakers and workshop leaders each have extensive leadership and practical experience of child safety in CSPN and in global settings, many on the African continent.
PLENARY SESSIONS: Two general sessions will be led by Dr. Phil Morrison who carried out his Doctoral research in Kenya on Sexual Abuse in the Church. He will point us to the Big Global Picture, the young demographic of Africa, legal frameworks, the role of the church and the perspective of children through the lens of a socio-ecological model.
WORKSHOPS: There will be a dual-track workshop programme (one for International schools/mission agencies and the other for charities and locally-based schools and organisations). These will follow the CSPN “Seven Elements of an Effective Child Safety Programme” which participants can attend interchangeably. Workshops will be translated into Swahili and Portuguese as requested.

Venue and Accommodations
Lodging rates include free parking and wi-fi, all meals and snacks, including a full breakfast buffet, and use of the beautiful grounds surrounding Brackenhurst. Available rooms are single, double, or triple beds. ($102, $78, or $66 USD per person)
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided Thursday and Friday during the conference (May 4-5). If you do not need overnight accommodations at Brackenhurst and will be present daily for the conference, a Meals-Only ticket is available for $60. This will cover one person’s meals and snacks for both days of the Regional Conference.

Each conference participant is responsible to determine whether or not you require a visa to travel to Kenya. If you need an invitation letter, you may request one by emailing the Executive Assistant at info@cspn.org.

A. Choose EITHER the “Registration ONLY” ticket or choose from the “Conference PLUS” options (includes room and board) for the room size and number of nights desired.
*Each ticket is Per Person.
